Bearing False Witness: Debunking Centuries of Anti-Catholic History by Rodney Stark

Rodney Stark is not Catholic but has written this book to defend history.  One cannot live in the USA without hearing many anti-Catholic statements about historical events:  the Crusades, Galileo, the Inquisition, and Hitler’s Pope, among many others.  Stark systematically goes through historical documents to dispel all of them.  It’s liberating.  We can then take these truths with us into the public square, knowing the Church is who She says She is.
